Bangladesh women's team to prepare for SAFF in two-week camp in Thailand

The Bangladesh women’s national football team will undergo a two-week training camp in Thailand as part of their preparations for the upcoming SAFF Women’s Championship.

According to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the দল will also play two আন্তর্জাতিক friendlies during the camp to fine-tune their readiness ahead of the SAFF.

Bangladesh will stay in Thailand from May 7 to 21, during which they are scheduled to play friendly matches on May 10 and May 17.

The team is set to leave Dhaka for Thailand on বৃহস্পতিবার morning (May 7). After completing the training camp, the squad will travel directly to India on May 22 to take part in the SAFF Championship.

The tournament will be held from May 25 to June 5 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, India. Bangladesh will enter the competition as the defending champions.

Afida Khandakar’s side will begin their campaign against the Maldives on May 28. Head coach Peter James Butler has already announced a 23-member squad for the tournament.
