Bangladesh have announced the squad for the first two matches of the three-match T20I series against Ireland. From the previous squad, Taskin Ahmed and Shamim Patwari have been left out, while Mohammad Saifuddin and uncapped Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan Ankon have earned call-ups.
The T20I series between the two sides will begin on 27 November at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram. The remaining two matches will also take place at the same venue on 29 November and 2 December.
Bangladesh last played a T20I series against the West Indies. From that squad, fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and batter Shamim Hossain have been excluded.
Replacing them for the first two matches against Ireland are all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin and 26-year-old uncapped batter Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan.
