BCB Issues New Guidelines for Journalists’ Entry to Stadium

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has introduced revised entry regulations at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) as part of ongoing measures to strengthen security at the venue and its surrounding premises.

In an official advisory, the BCB stated that the new regulations have come into effect immediately and will apply to all individuals entering the stadium complex, including media representatives.

According to the updated guidelines, Gate 1 has been designated as the sole entry point for members of the media to access the SBNCS.

The BCB further clarified that media access to the stadium will only be permitted on specific occasions.

Access for the media to the SBNCS will be facilitated only on the following occasions:

- Match Days
- Official Press Conferences
- Events held upon formal invitation from the BCB
- Specific Practice/Training Sessions as communicated by the BCB.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has requested the understanding and cooperation of all concerned parties to ensure the smooth implementation of these measures. The board emphasized that the revised regulations are aimed at ensuring enhanced safety, security, and orderly operations at both the stadium venue and BCB offices.
