The Pakistan national cricket team has arrived in Dhaka to play a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh. The series will begin on March 11 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Pakistan’s players landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Sunday (March 8). Earlier on Saturday, the team’s support staff arrived in Dhaka separately.
The 15-member Pakistan squad will be led by pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. The last time Pakistan played a bilateral ODI series in Bangladesh was in April 2015, when Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan in the three-match series.
Bangladesh and Pakistan will start the ODI series on March 11 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Ahead of the series, Afridi’s team will hold two practice sessions on Monday and Tuesday.
The remaining two ODIs of the series will also be played at the same venue on March 13 and 15 respectively.
