The 23-year-old pace sensation played a key role in Bangladesh’s 2-1 ODI series victory over New Zealand at home. Nahid claimed eight wickets in the three-match series at an economy rate of 4.46 and was named Player of the Series.

His standout performance came in the second ODI in Mirpur, where he produced fiery bowling figures of 5 for 32 to help Bangladesh secure a 55-run victory. He also picked up two wickets in the final match of the series in Chattogram.

Meanwhile, Oman skipper Jatinder Singh scored 266 runs in ODIs during April at an average of 53.20 and a strike-rate of 115.15. His unbeaten 139 off 91 balls against Nepal in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 became the highest ODI score by an Oman batter.
